GS Yuasa announces that our integrated report "GS Yuasa Report 2023" has been selected for the first time for the “Best Practice Award” in the "Integrated Report Award 2023* " selected by the Nikko Research Center, Inc.
We received the highest A rating in the three categories of "Key Message from Management," "Business Model," and "Strategy and Resource Allocation," and the B rating in at least three other categories, which led us to receive this award.
The "GS Yuasa Report 2023" not only provides concrete and objective data on the source of added value and competitive advantage, but also includes descriptions of potential new sources of added value in the future. In addition, the President's message was highly evaluated not only for its strong aspirations as a top executive in terms of corporate philosophy and significance of existence, but also for its recognition of and response to important growth strategies and management issues, which conveyed the thoughts and personality of the management.
We will continue to further enhance and appropriately disclose information in our integrated report and other disclosure documents, and further strengthen our efforts in investor relations activities.

*This award evaluates whether reports prepared by companies can be tools for communication with investors in value creation, while taking into account the perspectives of the international integrated reporting framework, and is being implemented starting in fiscal 2019.
